Welcome to Mrs. Pfannenstein's First Grade Website!
If you are new to this site, please let me introduce myself. My name is Cindy Pfannenstein- pronounced "fun"-enstein. Many of my first graders call me Mrs. Fun. And I DO like to have fun!
I've taught first grade for many years. You could kind of say I'm a first grade expert. But not really because each year I learn new things right along with my students! We challenge each other to keep learning and growing our brains.
I invite you to take a sneak peek at our learning in action by clicking on the tabs above: Daily 5 and Math. These are just two of our academic areas. We also spend time learning about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, music, Spanish, and art- just to name a few!
In addition to working in the classroom, I also work hard at being a mom. My husband, Paul, and I have 5 children.
Nic is in his second year at the University of Saint Thomas. Hannah is in her first year at the College of St. Benedict. Tommy (11th grade) Addy and Libby, our twin daughters (9th grade) are students at Cathedral High School. Our children are also graduates of the former Sacred Heart School and St. Katharine Drexel. We try to stay out of trouble by staying active with our loves: running, ball, and swimming.
Thank you for visiting. Please stop again.
